IMPRESSION OF BRONZE - Qin Dynasty Terr Reborn Series
Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper, commonly with about 12–12.5% tin and often with the addition of other metals (such as aluminium, manganese, nickel or zinc) and sometimes non-metals or metalloids such as arsenic, phosphorus or silicon. These additions produce a range of alloys that may be harder than copper alone, or have other useful properties, such as strength, ductility, or machinability.
Before Qin became the first centralized nation in China's history, bronze was used mainly for weapons include sword and spear and august ritual vessels. After the unification of the empire, bronze became material for many common daily wares and some kinds of patterns including TaoTie, a Ancient Mythical Beast，were widely used in many wares.
IMPRESSION OF BRONZE took the featured TaoTie pattern from Qin Bronze wares and integrated it into this black terra tea tray designed in 2014 by Haifeng Xu. You can either use it as a real tea tray in your house or just use it a desk decoration experiencing the atomospherre it brought to your from Qin Dynasty.
